Del M16 de Vietnam al estándar de la GWOT
La historia del M4 comienza con el AR-15 de Eugene Stoner, adoptado como el M16 durante Vietnam. Qué se siente al disparar el M4
El M4 se siente como hacer trampa. Con seis libras y media y el retroceso del ligero calibre 5.56 viajando directamente hacia atrás a través de una culata en línea, la boca del cañón apenas se eleva, incluso en automático. Tu primera ráfaga impacta en el acero. Tu segunda ráfaga impacta en el acero aún más rápido.
Esa controlabilidad es intencional: el M4 fue diseñado para que un recluta promedio de 19 años pudiera luchar con él eficazmente tras el entrenamiento básico.
