Downtown Las Vegas has the Mob Museum, Container Park, Fremont East and the SlotZilla zipline, all great. What it doesn't have is the room to fire belt-fed machine guns, drive a 10,000-lb monster truck, rip a Can-Am Maverick UTV through real desert, shoot a flamethrower into the open sky, or blow up a car with Tannerite. Yes, Uber or Lyft from Downtown runs roughly $60-80 one-way (40 minutes). The free shuttle is included with every booking, so most guests just pick a pickup window at checkout instead.
Is this a good day trip for Fremont Street tourists?+
It's one of the most popular day trips for Downtown Vegas visitors, pick the 9 AM or 10 AM shuttle, spend 2-3 hours in the desert, back on Fremont by mid-afternoon. Plenty of time for the SlotZilla zipline, dinner, and the Fremont Street Experience light show.
Are you open year-round from Downtown Las Vegas?+
Yes, 365 days a year, 9 AM to 5 PM PT. The outdoor shooting range is climate-controlled even in July and August, and the desert runs about 10°F cooler than Downtown.
